THE MATCHBOX SPECTROMETER

CLIENT	A manufacturer of water testing kits.

PROBLEM	To produce a small, inexpensive, visible range spectrophotometer.

SOLUTION	A novel optical design using fewer components than normal thereby reducing both parts cost and assembly cost.

TECHNOLOGIES REQUIRED	Optical design, Electronics, Mechanical engineering, Diode array detectors, Software.

Note: When the client decided not to complete the project the MATCHBOX became our own product.
